Famous among the famous, El Brujo is the emblematic technical, high and long Enduro/DH route in the city of Cusco. It's located south of Cusco, 1:30 hour drive up to 4300 meters in the "Abra de Ocoruro".
It is 10 km long and starts descending along the ridge of the mountain with spectacular views of the Andes and as it descends it crosses a valley until it reaches the suburbs of the city.
It's characteristically very bumpy and narrow. There are many screes as well as several sections where passing rocky steps is a must. Choosing the right line is mandatory.
