Epic, from beginning to end.
This trail starts in the nearest heights of the Sacred Valley, in the Yanamayo pass (going up from the village of Ollantaytambo), where you will be alone for several kilometres, from this point, the descent starts between high Andean grasslands, next to rivers of very clean water; It's in the first sections to be able to find a path with a not so steep and progressive slope, some sections will be fast but all the time it will be like walking on a toboggan and to be able to play with the infinity of pumptracks and natural jumps that are in all its route.
As the trail descends, you will encounter sections with loose rocks before reaching the typical village of Huacawasi; after a downhill trail begins that leads directly to the hot springs of Lares. In this section, there are fast sections between forest and exposed parts, ending with a short section of larges rock steps. Highly recommended for advanced riders.
